The first in a trilogy of books on healing from sexual assault, “all my favorite men are dead” is a collection of poems that intimately and unflinchingly explores the PAIN of experiencing something so physically, emotionally, and psychologically traumatic. 

I was raped by my sister’s ex-boyfriend only a few months after I was molested by a man who had been like a father to me for over four years. Regardless of how desperately I didn’t want them to, those two experiences (and the dozens of other sexually toxic experiences with men that came after) defined my early adulthood. These poems are my brutally honest exploration of what those experiences did to me.
